Government organisations
Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (The) is an Executive Agency of the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). Their work falls into three principal areas: environmental assessment and protection; fisheries science and management; and aquaculture and the health of fish and shellfish.

Health and Safety Executive (HSE) site provides access to over 350 of HSE's priced publications, including the HSG and L series, Approved Codes of Practice, as well as
the latest health and safety legislation, case summaries, EU directives and a wide range of other health and safety information. Future content includes Environment Agency material, COSHH Essentials, Food Standards and much more.

Magazines
Diskus Brief International is for the serious discus breeders and hobbyists. Note that there is an article search facility, and details of issue contents, but actual articles appear to be absent. The emphasis of the site is to persuade you to subscribe! The 36-page colour magazine is available quarterly in German, Italian, Chinese and English.

Freshwater and Marine Aquarium The magazine dedicated to the tropical fish enthusiast. It is necessary to become a subscriber to access all areas.

Practical Fishkeeping Magazine is the UK's best selling fishkeeping magazine featuring news, articles, fishkeeping advice and product guides.
